Nelson, David A.

David A. Nelson is a Special Counsel with Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass.

Mr. Nelson joined the firm in 2000. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law where he was a member of the National Moot Court Team.

Mr. Nelson's litigation experience includes both arbitrations and trials in areas including insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes, subrogation, and property claims.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nelson was an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, where he served in both the trial and appeals bureaus. He is admitted to the New York and New Jersey bars. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Nelson is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations, as well as the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity.
