Montbach, Francis A.

Francis A. Montbach has over thirty-five years of experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including general commercial, tort and insurance litigation and arbitration, involving, among other areas, property damage, transportation, defense and subrogation, commercial marine, and first- and third-party claims. Mr. Montbach has litigated in state and federal courts throughout the United States and has coordinated the defense of litigation throughout the world. His experience includes jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, and appeals at all levels, including the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Montbach has been a participant at the International Congress of Maritime Arbitrators and has been a member of the legal panel of the Air Transport Association. He has lectured on air cargo law and has assisted clients in drafting tariffs and cargo handling procedures. He is a member of the IATA Cargo Claims Policy Group and he has headed the legal panel at the IATA Cargo Claims and Loss Prevention seminar since its inception. Mr. Montbach is also a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
Mr. Montbach is a graduate of Lehigh University (B.S., B.A.) and the Dickinson School of Law (J.D.).
